Prior to starting our current dealerships here in Reno, my wife and I operated profitable dealerships in the San Francisco, Bay Area. My dealer experience began in 1972, when I promoted to General Manager of Allison Pontiac, GMC. While working as the General Manager, the dealership was number 1 in new car sales in the United States. Thereafter, my wife and I purchased Allison BMW, which was moved to a 45,000 square foot facility in Mountain View, California. Our BMW dealership was consistently one of the most profitable BMW dealerships in the United States, and held the 9th ranking in customer service for the U.S. and 1st for the Western Region.
Eventually we sold our interest in Allison BMW and moved to Reno, Nevada. After our move, we took part in a partnership for dealerships in Woodland, California. This dealership included Cadillac, GMC, and Kia franchises. After only a year of commute from Reno, it became too burdensome, and we began seeking opportunities in the Reno market. Currently, we own and operate Allison Saab and Allison Mitsubishi in Reno. Our dealership was created from the ground up, and has seen dramatic increase in sales since its inception. Moreover, after only 4 years of operation in Reno, Allison Saab was awarded the Mark of Excellence for customer satisfaction for the last three years. We have also been able to acquire the Triple Diamond Award for Mitsubishi for the past two years.
